Profile:

Hume Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. She holds a PhD in political science and public policy from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She publishes extensively on civil society and governance issues in her native Jamaica. Dr. Johnson is also a recognized broadcast journalist and political commentator with Jamaican media. She is the founder of the nation brand think tank, The Re:Imagine Jamaica Project and a noted spokesperson on Brand Jamaica.
